June 12 2005. A little speculative maybe but I noted this horse's turn of foot at Southwell during April, and noted it as a future winner. It has ran twice since in unfavourable conditions and I have a note to back at 7 furlongs on fast ground. Well it's not 7 furlongs but the horse has the right conditions together with a good draw and a fantastic price for a horse that IMO is still very well handicapped. Must play in a small way at odds which currently around 20-1. Backed in from an early 20-1 No Grouse wins by a short-head at a SP of 12-1. June 7 2005. Willhewiz is a talented handicapper who is better than his current rating. He won two races off 78 under todays conditions and is surprisingly running off 74 today. The horse Cape St Vincent who beat him last time out is possibly an improving sort and the way they both annihilated the rest of the field at Bath would indicate to me that the horse is still in top form and quite capable of taking this weak handicap. As this race was won by the stable last year I would assume it has to be a target again. Anything above 6-1 is a fair price IMO. Willhewiz leads from start to finish WON 13-2 June 4 2005 The start will come in the shape of Enforcer. I was a little concerned about this horse at Haydock when running against our Home Affair. This is everything I look for in a handicapper and had Home Affair not been in the race I would have backed it. When you visibly see a horse boxed in and in trouble and still full of running you just hope for a gap. If the horse then quickens as soon as the gap opens, the chances are the horse will be underhandicapped in it's next race. The Enforcer did this at Goodwood and I hope he does it again off what I think is a winning mark for this horse. Enforcer followed the scenario perfectly and could have been called the winner a full 2 furlongs from home. WON 5-1................................................................ After some brilliant informative reasons as to why Baltic King was the strongest bet of the season so far. It finished LAST. You can always produce some positive thoughts on what was not a going day for the horse because if this had have been drawn better it would have been a maximum bet and it would still probably have finished last. Result Baltic King 5-1 LAST ............................................................ The fact that Roger Charlton has earmarked this race for Blue Monday is significant. I Know this horse is potentially rated higher than 94 because it is clearly a better horse than Makfool for example who is rated 98. You are naturally taking a risk that it will stay as the Chester form cannot always be taken at face value but as far as I see it there is not a horse I have seen at the moment that looks more of a future winner than this one. 3rd decent bet of the season as Blue Gold leads from start to finish and never looked like being caught. WON 7-2 ........................................................... I intend to have a serious wager on Home Affair. I have had this earmarked for todays race for some time. Notability is the favourite in the 3.30 Haydock but Home Affair annihilated that horse as a 2 year old at Yarmouth and had HA ran any sort of race in the Dewhurst he certainly wouldn't have been lining up here. There was excuses for finishing last and the horse should be better on this surface. Some of you will no doubt notice that this horse doesn't really fit my profile, however, the reason for that is that you never normally get a horse with such potential running in a handicap of such a reasonable mark. If you consider Notability is running off 94 and Home Affair is running off 90 you have to play when I personally think that ours is at least 6 lbs better. Win or lose you simply have to stake decent cash down in these rare situations. If Home Affair is as good as I think it is, nothing will get near it and hopefully it will win very easy. If it doesn't then it just simply isn't your day. Second decent bet of the season saw Home Affair get into all sorts of trouble in running when Richard Hughes went for a non existent gap. He pulled the horse out a showed stunning acceleration to catch Notability on the line quite luckily. Should have won as easy as we expected. WON 7-2 .............................................................. I really wanted a very decent bet today but I’m still going to pull the reigns in a bit by reducing the bet on Fonthill Road. Had we had a little success from the small bets I may have gone bigger but I’m in protection mode and the soft ground doesn’t help at all despite me having no problems backing our selection on it. It is not often your selection not producing it’s the others that don’t show their true form on soft and end up causing a shock. I felt Fonthill Road was badly handicapped at Chester but it seriously proved me wrong and was very unlucky to get trapped when making a winning run. Make no mistake this horse should have beaten Fire Up The Band and could be considered a winner without a penalty. The wide open spaces will suit and had the ground been a little quicker this would have been a maximum bet. I expect the horse to tuck in and come very late indeed. Hold your breath, this is a strong EW to allow for a bit of bad luck, and also that I’m worried about Soldiers Tale. I have that horse as potential winner of a decent handicap in June. Our selection is due to go up 3 lbs from Saturday and I also believe this horse is still on the upgrade. I will be very disappointed if we lose money on Fontill Road today. First decent bet of the season £100 EW beaten short head by the other horse mentioned in the write up. Very unlucky but stake returned. "Below are some further winning examples from last year - rest assured though, I do lose alot short term - but not over time and if you follow me religiously like previous years you will not lose money during the flat season and receive valuable advice for future experience." Sorry the inconvenience with the later call but the reason is we go with a large bet today. My guys have got on at 5-1 EW but for shareholders I'm sticking with a straight £300 win. The reason for the EW is purely insurance so naturally I will be gutted if this fails to place at least. Had we done a bit better of late I might have gone a massive EW for us too but this game does play tricks and in all honesty the 2 pro guys I handicap for have far more money than us thanks to our info at Royal Ascot. I'm concerned about the fast finishing Connect as you don't know when that horse is having a on day but strictly on form and handicapping Salviati is an absolute banker and we must play. I am just praying he doesn't get too much of his customary slow start. I'm pleased with the jockey booking too..in fact I with simply be gobsmacked if this doesn't go close. £300 Max win bet (first this season) advised RETURNED £1,650.00~~~~~~~ "Today I have to have some interest in Whistler..I have this down to win a better handicap than this so while it is flaunting it's wares in D class handicaps, we simply have to play. It is only 6 lbs more than it's easy win at Sandown in similar conditions to day, and after that I had it down for better things. Although the horse likes firm, it just might have been to much like a road on it's last run and looked to be feeling it a bit. I'm not playing singles though and will double it with Tudor Bell in the next race. There is nothing in the field that has form like Tudor Bell and only a fluke can beat this. Le Tiss beat this horse last time and franked the form well at Royal Ascot. Unlike yesterday the strongest bet is first..so if Whistler does win I might take some of the profit." £30ew Double advised RETURNED £1,488.00 Call daily on 09062 161 725 (Calls cost just 25p per minute) Shareholder Clientbase - CLOSED System & Shareholder Information Clientbase -OPEN Don't forget to check out the form of our resident Glamour Tipster - link at top of page- " I have pretty good form and I'm in excellent form aswell - check my figures" Go now! On 1 May 2002 (year 3) they will have seen their share allocation increase from their initial 25 to 53.95.
